The coming weekend is Easter weekend in JBay and we will be launching every morning, weather permitting I must add. The weather prediction so far is looking good with a bit of wind in the afternoons. You can book your dives online on our website, at the Info office in JBay, via email or sms.
During March we had the Scuba Pro day at Hobie beach, a number of launches from Noordhoek Ski Boat Club and a launch in JBay. Water temp seems to be fairly constant at 18 deg at the surface and good 5 to 8m viz. On Sunday we had flat seas and we dived Suicide reef. This reef is hardly ever dived as conditions have to be perfect and we were so lucky to get two dives in on this untouched reef. A horse fish, pajama sharks, new nudi's and more was seen. Some photos will be uploaded on our website.
More and more divers are starting to use the Xcel range of wetsuits, booties and gloves and all the feedback is that it's awesome soft gear. A new short sleeve under garment with 2mm hoodie attached is now also available. For more info you can view www.xcelwetsuits.com/products/us/dive. Our online shop is still in progress and all of these items will also be available from our website soon.
See you all in Jbay over Easter.
