So the Noordhoek Dive Fest has come and gone! Great weather, 17 deg water with up to 8m viz!! Everyone was a bit sceptical but it turned out to be a good one. Thanks to everyone who helped, dived or just came to pop in. A special thanks to Xcel wetsuits who sponsored ladies & gents wetsuits, booties and gloves and congrats to the winners. We know you will be enjoying your dives in future.
Our planned launches for the coming months can be viewed on our website or by clicking this link. This coming weekend we will be launching from Noordhoek again so all of you who missed out on the dive fest can catch up. Friday 6 July is our monthly club evening at the JBay ski boat club and loads of certificates will be handed out to all the PADI students who have completed their courses. On Saturday the 7th we will be launching from JBay main beach and on Sunday the 8th we will be diving on Enriched Air in search of a wreck! The gps mark was given to us by a fisherman so hopefully its not just a fishy story and we actually find the wreck.
Finally we also replaced all our old wetsuits with new Xcel suits so no more cold students during training! The old suits will be given to Noordhoek as they provide wetsuits for the Sea Cadettes who stand in the water holding our boats every year. Our electricity problem is also something of the past as a genset with our two compressors have been mounted on a trailer and we can now offer air fills anywhere and everywhere where we go diving.
Our specialty for July is PADI Deep Diver. If youre interested send us an email or sms!
