Well this year is off to a busy start. We had our boat and trailer refurbished and both are as good as new. The motors and cabling etc was fitted last weekend and this coming weekend we will be launching from Noordhoek to complete our PADI Deep Diver specialty and also a few fun dives at Fort Raggie etc. You can book your dives online on our website.
Our planned trip to Guinjata, Mozambique for mid March is also on track and there are only a few spaces left so if you would like to dive Manta Reef, which is one of the top ten dive sites in the world, let me know. All the detail is also available on our website.
Please note that both JBay Underwater Club and Noordhoek Ski Boat Club expect all divers to have delayed surface markers or " rescue sausages" when they dive there. It makes it so much easier for the top-man to see you should you loose the group and from a safety point of view it is a definite must. As we have the only PADI Instructor who may teach the SMB Specialty training we will be hosting a SMB Specialty course at the end of March so be sure to book your spot.
On Friday 1 March it is our club night in JBay again at the Ski Boat Club from 18:00. Braai and bar facilities available and we will be diving on Saturday and Sunday in JBay. Be sure to book your dives online and let me know if you require any equipment.
There have been a few changes in our dive prices due to the fuel price hikes and it may change again dependant on what happens to our fuel prices. Please familliarise yourself with our pricing on our bookings page.
If you have not yet joined our facebook page and followed us on Twitter, then please do so. Thanks!
