It's been a while since our last newsletter but we will be sending them out more frequently in the future. So much has happened and although we are using facebook mostly to inform divers they somehow still don't get the news.
Early October we had our 4th JBay dive fest and we couldn't have asked for better weather. A bit windy on the last launch on Sunday but we managed to get 7 launches out. The water temp was on average 16 degrees and viz vairied from 3 to 8m depending on dive site. Here is a link to some photos.
As you all know the Kouga Mun has decided to take their land back on which we built our club house. After long court sessions we were issued a notice to move out and have vacated the premises. Diving during the December holidays will however continue in JBay even if we have to meet at the parking area close to our old club house but we are in discussions with the Kouga Mun to keep our equipment room. I will update everyone asap.
